About CyVee and the Information We Collect
CyVee is an internet social networking service. When you register for CyVee, you
provide us with certain "Personal Information", such as your name, your email address,
your work experience, your education, your interests and any other personal or preference
information that you provide to us. As part of the registration process, each CyVee
Member creates his or her own profile, which contains the Personal Information that
the Member chooses to include ("Member Information"). When you create your profile,
you have the option of disclosing items within your profile to the "Everyone", to
"Network", to your “Direct Connections” or to keep it private. You can update your
settings at any time. If you choose to disclose items to the "Public", the information
will be viewable by all visitors to the CyVee Web site. If you choose to disclose
items to "Network", the items will be viewable only by those CyVee Members who are
in your network (1st and 2nd level relationships”). If you choose to disclose items
to "Direct Connections", the items will be viewable only by those CyVee Members
who are directly connected with you (1st level relationship). If you choose the
"Privacy" setting, the items will not be viewable by others. You should be aware
that Information that is viewable by others can be collected, or used for their
own purposes. Therefore such information could be used improperly to send you unsolicited
messages or otherwise. CyVee is not responsible for the personally identifiable
information you choose to disclose or for the misuse of such information by Members
or third parties. Any misuse or improper collection of Member Information provided
is a violation of the CyVee Terms of Use and should be reported to contact@cyvee.com.
Each time you visit CyVee, we use cookies to keep track of your activities on the
Web site and enhance your experience on the Web site. We use session ID cookies
to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes
the browser. By default, we use a persistent cookie that stores your login ID (but
not your password) to make it easier for you to login when you come back to CyVee.
Third party advertisers on the Site may also place or read cookies on your browser.
You can remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser although
in that case you may not be able to use certain features on our site and you may
be required to re-enter your password more frequently during a session.
How We Use The Information You Disclose?
We use your Personal Information to help us efficiently operate CyVee and to contact
you in connection with your transactions and other activities on the Web site. We
also use Personal Information to send you notifications regarding new services offered
by CyVee or promotions of services that CyVee is undertaking with third parties
that we think you may find valuable.
We do not disclose to third parties your personal information or information about
your use of the CyVee website (such as the areas you visit or the services you access),

We may disclose such information to third parties if you consent to such disclosure.

to determine whether you might be interested in the products or services of a particular

and providing customer service. These companies and individuals will have access

the rights or property of the legal entity owning CyVee.com or its partner companies;

or a substantial portion of the legal entity owning CyVee.com, whether such acquisition
is by way of merger, consolidation or purchase of all or a substantial portion of
our assets.
We may use your name, your company's name or logo, or any other information about
or from your account for any and all of CyVee's marketing purposes. For example,
company names or logos may be used in newspaper advertising, direct mail pieces,
sales kits, posters and other materials related to CyVee.
CyVee may also share aggregated anonymous information about visitors to each section
of CyVee with its clients, partners and other third parties so that they may understand
the kinds of visitors to the CyVee.com website and how those visitors use the site.
Links
CyVee’s Web site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ
from those of CyVee. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your
information is subject to their privacy statements. CyVee's privacy policy does
not apply to information you may submit to those sites. We encourage our users to
be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every
Web site you visit.
Invite a Friend
If a Member elects to use our "Invite" feature to invite a friend to become a Member
of CyVee, we ask them for the friend's email address. CyVee will automatically send
the friend an email inviting them to join the site. CyVee stores this email address
for the purpose of automatically adding the respondent to the friends list of the
Member sending the invitation, and also to send reminders of the invitation. CyVee
does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication
besides invitations and invitation reminders.
Changing or Removing Information
Access and control over most personal information on CyVee is readily available
through the profile editing tools. Information will be updated immediately. Members
who wish to deactivate their CyVee account may do so by contacting contact@cyvee.com.
Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time
but will not be generally available to other Members of CyVee.
Security
The CyVee account of every Member is password-protected. CyVee takes appropriate
precautions to protect our Members' information. Unfortunately, perfect security
does not exist on the internet, and therefore, CyVee makes no representations or
warranties with regard to the sufficiency of these security measures. CyVee shall
not be responsible for any damages that result from a lapse in compliance with this
Privacy Policy because of a security breach, technical malfunction or similar problem.
Always be careful and responsible regarding your personal information.
Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications,
we request that you not send private information to us or other Members by email
or instant messaging services. If you have any questions about the security of the

Changes in CyVee’s Privacy Policy
From time to time, we may make changes to our privacy policy. We will post those
changes on the CyVee Web site. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately.
If we are decide to change our policy about how we use Members' personally identifiable
information that is conflicting with what we have committed, we will notify Members
by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days.
