What is CyVee’s profile?
CyVee's profile is an online resume which shows your education, work experience and interests. This information will be shown to those who search for you on CyVee.
Why should I complete my profile?
CyVee is a social network for professionals. It provides a community platform on which users can identify, network, and share among people with common interests or relevant expertise. Sharing your personal information is necessary to:
1. Keep in touch with your friends and colleagues.
2. Bring many interesting opportunities to you.
3. Build your brands among other members with your details and professional profile.
4. Use your CyVee profile as your name card
New members, after completing their profiles, will be rewarded 8 CVD.
How can I complete 100% my profile?
You go to “My CyVee > Profiles”. You will see the Statistics on the right side of the web page to find the instruction for completing your profile.
Who can view my profile on CyVee?
To protect your privacy, CyVee allows you to show or hide any information you want.
You can find this function on “Account and Settings” and set your privacy policy there.
When updating your Personal Information, you can check how your profile looks like with your various connections by choosing As View By.
What is Tag?
Tag is a way to comment on your friend’s profile. Only direct connection can send comments to each other. You and your friend – who receive the comment – can delete them if they wish.
What is whiteboard?
This is a public platform for everyone to comment on any profile they view on CyVee. To protect your privacy, you are highly recommended to not put your email address or your contact phone there because everyone can see all your information on the whiteboard.
What is public profile?
It comprises all information which everyone can view on your profile. You can manage your profile in “Account and Settings”. CyVee allows you to create your URL or delete it anytime if you wish
What kinds of information which I can post on my profile?
You have full control to post any profile you want (“Account and Settings”). Please note that the more information you show, the more interesting opportunities will come to you.
How can I use my profile to introduce myself?
You can put your CyVee profile to your resume, your blogs, your private website or any online site which you want to introduce yourself.
What is URL?
That is a link to your public profile on CyVee. Your URL will be shown: http://www.cyvee.com/profiles/YourNickName. You can copy this link and introduce yourself to your friends, your partner by sending this link.
How can I change my URL?
You can go to “My CyVee > Profiles”. Edit URL and type your new name you wish. If your name has been chosen by other, our system will inform you and suggest you put another name for your new URL.
