Questions & Answers
What is Cyvee Q&A?
CyVee Q&A is a place where professionals can share knowledge and expertise to
help each other. If you have a question about any topic relating to business and
career, chances are somebody in our community of over 10 thousands professionals
would know the answers and are willing to help. Conversely, if you know the answer
to others’ questions, we encourage you to share you knowledge, and at the same time,
build up credibility and earn some CyVee Dollar.
How does it work?
To ask: Post your questions on CyVee Q&A and allocate
a few CVD to reward the persons who have the best answers. Come back in a few hours
to check for answers. Once you find good answers, make sure you reward those answers
by assigning CVD to them.
To answer: Once you see a question to which you know
the answer, click on “Answer this question” and type in your answer. You can answer
a question more than once. If the person who asked the question considers your answer
good and rewards it, your account will be automatically credited and you are a few
points closer to expert status.
Why do I need to pay CyVee Dollar to ask question?
This money will go to the person(s) who gives you the best answers. Think of it
as a token of appreciation to them for helping to answer your questions. Besides,
it should be an effective way to keep spammers out of the system. If you don’t have
enough CVD, there are many ways to get them.
The more CVD you promise to reward, the more incentive people would have to answer
your questions. If finding good answers is really important to you, increase the
reward.
What are opened and closed questions?
Opened questions are those that still have remaining CVD to reward. For example,
if a question promises to reward 10 CVD; 8 CVD has been rewarded to other answers
and there are 2 CVD left, it is considered opened. When all the CVD are rewarded
out, it is considered closed.
People are still able to answer closed questions, just that they won’t be able to
get further reward.
How long can a question stay opened?
A question will stay opened until one of the following happens:
1. The person who asked the question rewards all the
CVD out and close it
2. After two weeks since the date the question is asked,
if the questioner still has not rewarded all CVD out, our CyVee admin team will
allocate the remaining CVD as we see fit and close the question
3. If the questioner decides to withdraw the question
What if my question did not get answered or all the answers are bad?
In the unlikely event that your questions do not get any answers or none of the
answers are good, you can request to withdraw your questions.
1. If there are no answers, you will immediately get
your CVD reward back and the questions are removed.
2. However, if there are already one or more answers,
but you are not happy with the quality of those answers, you can request to withdraw
your question. In this case, our CyVee team will review the answers and determine
whether we should reward CVD to any of them. If we agree with you that the quality
of those answers is not high, we will allow the question withdrawn and you get refunded.
If not, we will reward the answers at our discretion and considered the question
closed.
Our decision will be final. We try to be fair to everyone but the system is not
perfect.
I answered a question but still did not receive any reward CVD. What happened?
There are a couple of scenarios why this could happen:
a. The person who asked the question has not decided
to reward CVD to your answer. Please note that they have full rights within 2 weeks
to assign the reward as they see fit. If they don’t take action, our CyVee admin
team will make that decision at the end of the 2 week period.
b. You have answered a closed question, e.g. your answer
was submitted after all the CVDs have been rewarded out. You should have seen the
indicator “Remain: 0 CVD” on the question. Well, it’s not just about CVD, is it?
It’s about helping others and you should be proud of it.
What is private answer?
Private answers are those that can only be seen by the questioner. Private answers
are not eligible to earn CVD or contribute to raise expert levels.
What are expert levels?
Experts are those who have provided many good answers (as decided by the questioners).
There are 3 different levels for each area of expertise as a way to recognize their
status
a.
experts: those who have earned more than 20 CVD in a particular area
of expertise.
b.
experts: those who have earned more than 50 CVD in a particular area
of expertise.
c.
experts: those who have earned more than 80 CVD in a particular area
of expertise.
